With over 7 years of experience, she has broadened her skills to provide a wide range of skincare and overall beauty treatments. Melissa has excellent product knowledge and continues to further her education. She holds certifications in making her a trusted expert Body Contouring, Skincare, Advanced Facials, Chemical Peels, Microneedling, and much more!

Melissa’s esthetics journey started when she suffered from grade 4 acne and wanted to find a way to cure it without harsh medications. Growing up at a time when information was not as readily available, Melissa was able to resolve her acne through trial and error and now continues to help others with their skin care issues.

After graduating from the International Beauty Institute, Melissa has been able to gain valuable experience working at the Facial Boutique and BellaBody Post-Op and Medspa. It was at BellaBody that Melissa was introduced and trained with industry experts in the field of Pre- & Post-Operative Care, body contouring and lymphatic massage.

Finally in 2021, Melissa decided she wanted to pursue her own dreams and opened up Hello Beautiful by Mel, a home-based spa. She saw her vision of providing an affordable, luxury spa experience come to life. Hello Beautiful by Mel offers a serene, luxe and comforting spa experience to women looking for budget-friendly beauty solutions.

Melissa continues to invest in herself by continuing her education and adding new modalities and products to her services. She also occasionally does pop-up events at other beauty spas to be able to service different areas of the city.
